Hi! This is Fu-lan! I graduated from a business school, but later discovered my passion in teaching Chinese while working and traveling in Yellowstone National Park.

That experience led me to pursue a master’s degree in teaching Chinese as a second language at NTNU, Taiwan’s top university in the field. Since then, I’ve spent 13 years teaching Mandarin in univerities in Poland and Taiwan, including at ICLP and MTC.

I’ve worked with students from 15+ countries — including artists, lawyers, consultants, engineers, and doctors — ranging from complete beginners to highly advanced speakers.

My focus is on spoken Mandarin — helping learners build clear pronunciation (textbook-perfect or Taiwan-flavored — your call!), solid grammar logic, and natural conversation skills. If you're looking to speak Mandarin naturally and confidently, I’d love to help ;)

I’m also a language lover. Besides Mandarin and Taiwanese, I speak English and Polish. Right now, I’m learning Spanish and Hakka. Currtently I am organising two language events: Language Walk & Mandarin Picnic. You are very welcome to join us if you are in Taiwan!

Outside of languages, I enjoy growing plants, creating ambigrams and working on random DIY projects, such as refurbishing furniture, doing embroidery and etc..
